I work in a high end beauty store and be probably sell about 3-6 Chi's a day and let me tell you in the 4 years I have worked there i have seen maybe 10 been returned.. All these people saying it shorts? Well how ofter do you drop it? I have had a chi for two years and have had not one problem.. and My mom also.. I said i would never pay that kinda of money for a flat iron but let me tell you... ITS AWESOME..

I have had my chi flat iron now for about 5 years and its still going strong, I have been fortunate. I have read A LOT of reviews about how the Chi's breakdown in a matter of months. I have a thick/waivy hairtype. Ya gotta take a gamble in purchasing an expensive iron, just like anything in life but I honestly have to say it is the best $100 I have spent! : )

i am a hair stylist in training and the chi is highly recommended in my salon which is very high class ,its the only flat iron we sell,so i finally decided to try it....i have thick frizzy unruly hair that isnt gonna style with a blowdryer or a cheap flat iron well this is the 7th flat iron ive owned but this ones a chi and i love it my hair comes out soft smooth and healthy looking i havent had it long but if it should "short out" i would go buy another ....why? because a guarenteed good hair day everyday is worth any price ,,,
