I am a hairstylist and have two chi flat irons. The one i use at home I've had since cosmetology school and has been through hell and back. it still works like a charm, even though its literally been dropped about 100+ times. the one at work gets used multiple times per day and still works like new. Thu Aug 7 2008 I had read so many reviews before I bought this flat iron, cuz it's not a cheaper appliance, but I still took a chance to buy a dear one. Within my expectation, it worked miracles. What it brings me is soft & straight hair, and the hair is really attractive, I feel really good. It's worth my money. --- Ashlia from Arizona
Bad Review:
so i bought the chi. it worked really well on my hair. i only dropped it once and it basically broke. where the cord connected to the iron would spin and would make it work only when it was spun to some parts. i don't recommend this but i do recommend the infrashine. :) --- jenna
I bought the chi and it worked but it made my hair dry and if I came it contact with moisture my hair would frizz up. After about a year it BROKE, it would only work if I turned the cord and then it would turn back off. I don't recommend chi, use your money to buy sometime better. --- Victoria from Lubbock
