My friend bought this flat iron for me as a birthday gift, I was so surprised that moment, I had never straighten my hair, I doubted the outlook with the long straight hair. but after i used this iron to straighten my hair, it worked miracle, I absolutely like the straight hair, it looks so cute, and i feel very different, i mean~~~ good, I like flat iron, solia flat iron

I purchased this flat iron about a year ago. I didn't really have any problems until lately and it worked great. I have really, tight curly, frizzy, puffy hair. It obviously worked better in the beginning and not as well as the year went by. It still worked well except after sometime I just had to go over my hair more. Sometime in the last couple of months I have got a scratch on one of the plates, which sometimes pulls my hair. It isn't too big and I don't know how it got there because I have never dropped it, it is being used or stored in the little travel thing that came iwth it, and I have never used anything to clean it that would scratch it. Up until this last week that was the only problem. Where the cords swivals, depending on how its twisted the iron will not work. It is a huge pain. I have never once wrapped the cord around the iron!!! If I do anything with it is like in the package when purchased, loose big loops, other wise the cord is straight, no twists. I thought about getting the same thing or another solia but I figure the same thing will happen in a year so I am looking at other brands.
